Josh obtained his Bachelors of Environmental Studies (Hons.) from York University in 1999 and completed law school at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003. Josh was awarded the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Entrance Scholarship for academic excellence. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2004. He is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and is actively involved in a number of community organizations. Prior to joining Lang Lawyers in 2016, Josh practiced at a leading long term disability / personal injury firm in Toronto. Prior to that, Josh practiced immigration law at a prominent Toronto immigration law firm, where he focussed on immigration litigation. Josh has represented clients at the Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court, Social Security Tribunal, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board. Josh brings his litigation skills and experience to Lang Lawyers, where his practice focusses on long term disability and personal injury litigation. In his spare time, Josh enjoys volunteering with community organizations, and spending time with his wife and four children.
